ビック・ベン
（Big Ben）

工場監督のベンジャミン・ホールの名前からこの名がある。英国国会議事堂の時計塔の時鐘、あるいは塔そのもの、時計そのもののこと。

(This names 'Big Ben' after 'Benjamin Hall' of a factory's foreman. This points the clock's bell or the tower or the clock of the tower of clock on the Houses of Parliament.)

バッキンガム宮殿
(Buckingham Palace)

ロンドンにある英国国王の宮殿です。１７０３年にバッキンガム公が建造したことからこの名前がある。それを１７６１年ジョージ三世が買い取り、王妃の宮殿とし、その後に改造した。ヴィクトリア女王以来歴代王室の住居となっている。

(This is the palace of England's king in London. The palace had named 'Buckingham Palace' after the Duke of Buckingham be constructed it in 1703. ロンドンの大聖堂で、今の建築は１７１０年完成。バロック様式。

(This is a big temple, and the present construction was accomplished in 1710. And, it is the Baroque.)

タワー・ブリッジ
(Tower Bridge)

テムズ川に架かっている鉄橋。ロンドン塔の近くにある。上下二橋から成っており下橋は船舶通過の際に上方に開く。１８９４年竣工。

(This is an iron bridge build across the Thames, near the Tower of London. It consists of two bridges of up and down, and the bridge be down open when vessels navigate below it. The completion was 1894).

テムズ川河畔にある城壁。１０７８年頃からウィリアムⅠ世の命でロチェスターの司教グンドルフが造営した。その後、拡張を経て、牢獄に転用されるようになり、王侯貴族などの国事犯が幽閉された。
